KATE FREEMAN
Kate Freeman is a nurse practitioner with over 30 years of service in the caring of patients. Working with Dr Reginald Bell in the OR and clinic, she helped create a renowned private surgical practice dedicated to patients with foregut disease. She developed and managed the clinic‘s esophageal physiology lab.
She has been instrumental in the founding and growth of the American Foregut Society. She has been the society’s Executive Director since its inception. Her clinical and business background has helped see the society grow in 6 years from an idea to a membership of over 700.
