Dr. Bell is a founding member, current chair, and past president of the American Foregut Society - a society which has seen surgeons and gastrointestinal specialists working side by side to improve the care of patients with esophageal and gastric disorders. He has practiced surgery for over 30 years, the last 15 of which have been dedicated to clinical research in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with benign foregut disorders. He lives in Colorado and besides being a data nerd, he enjoys the outdoors (a requirement for living in Colorado).
